No, YOU say cheese!

I am a photographer.....I love to capture precious moments and fun times on camera. I think this passion has melted onto my daughter. She's only two, but she walks around the house with one of several "play cameras" and creates poses for her dolls and animals. "Say Cheese"...she says! I do see alot of me in her as she moves about arranging things and then steps back to think about her work before she takes the photo. I often get excited about her interest in the camera...and I sometimes (ok....more than sometimes) grab my own camera and take photos with her. Unfortunately, since I would rather take photos of my daughter than her stuffed animals, I find myself coaxing her to pose, fixing her hair and straightening her clothes. After I've pushed the limit on making her smile pretty...she always says "I dun now mommy. You say cheese!"....and in habit, I find myself blurting out, "No! You say cheese!...just one more time!, OK?" .....put the camera down slowly mam.....put the camera down.....

shall we say welcome!?!

I guess the first post is always the "welcome to the blog" post. Well then...Welcome to the blog...There, I said it! I have a very Tolerant and loving husband who is head over heals in love with me, a 16 year old step-son who is very smart in his own right, and a toddler. Join us as we Celebrate life and enjoy the days! Living in the moment is something that we like to do! Personally, I have a harder time than my husband- I'm always thinking about work, bills,...etc. He can relax quicker than I can and for that I'm Jealous! I'm pretty sure by writing things down will give me a better perspective on things and help me obsess about one more thing relax.
